If the people’ smiles, the positive creative atmosphere and the wonderful earrings made in the technique Soutache is a benchmark for a successful day and even more successful workshop, then believe us, we had the most beautiful creative day.
On May 12, 2019 the first Soutache workshop, organized by Creative Macedonia, was held as part of the campaign “Create a legacy, learn a craft”. This breathtaking and lavish Russian technique sparked great interest among the creators and future creators.
The excitement was apparent from the very beginning, from the moment when color combinations were selected, through the first made pieces, until the moment when the final shapes of jewelry could be seen. To master such technique in such a short time was a pleasant surprise for the lecturer too, Biljana Todoroska, Master of Soutache, who says that she studied the technique on her own for a longer period of time.
The advantage of such workshops is that the lecturer “serves on the plate” the secrets of the technique, she goes through all stages of the workmanship and points out the possible omissions practically with each participant of the workshop. In the end, exhausted, but with a full heart and richer for the Soutache technique, we stood in front of the camera and took tons of pictures.
