As you already know, Creative Macedonia was part of the project “Women Entrepreneurs and Canadian Experts: Mentorship, Development and Sustainability”, made possible by the non-governmental organization Macedonia 2025 and the Canadian Executive Agency for CESO SACO.
Our expert from Canada, Mr. Denis Jones, heard the stories of the seven entrepreneurial girls and conveyed their experience in an appropriate way in order to improve their position in the market and social sphere of life. To the handicraftsmen and craftsmen, as around the world, and so do us, globalization brings new and challenging problems that need to be dealt with daily.
Those solutions derived from the books and past practice failed to help these women entrepreneurs in an appropriate way, so Mr. Jones decided that this should not be a classical lecture with divided hierarchical roles, but a process of equality through which new horizons for creating creative solutions that will emerge from each girl separately and will be complementary to the subject they handle.
After several group sessions, the individual followed, in which each girl had the opportunity within one hour to tell the challenges she was facing and in return to receive advice on how to overcome them. What was the kind of stimulant to find solutions, is the way Mr. Jones encouraged them to think independently, through examples of his vast experience?
What did the girls who were part of this project had to say:
Creative Borjana shared the following thoughts with us: “Personally, the experience with Mr. Jones was more than welcome to me and I hope that in the future we will have more such workshops because they are really needed.”
Anna, meanwhile, the girl who cares about the beauty of girls in our city says: “I am so grateful to Denis that he set aside to patiently listen to me and dedicate maximum attention to solving the problem that I have since opening up my business. I am from his decision because he tried to explain it to me visually, with some concrete examples.

It was a great honor for us to be part of this project, which aims to help women entrepreneurs. We gratefully thank Macedonia 2025 for giving us such a unique opportunity to promote our knowledge and help the girls with whom we cooperate. Great thanks also to Mr. Denis Jones, who surpassed our expectations and with his knowledge left a trace in our lives that would motivate us to become better versions of ourselves every day.
