On May 31, 2019, was held the first Skopje Mini Maker Faire, organized by American Corner in cooperation with the US Embassy.
Skopje Mini Maker Faire brings together all young creators, innovators, scientists and enthusiasts for new technologies in order to stimulate innovation and creativity among the youngest and the adults.
This friendship was an ideal opportunity for young creators to present their creations and novelties, to exchange ideas and to get information.
The Creative Macedonia Institute took an active part in this Mini Maker Faire, presenting the Quilting technique (filigree paper), the ability to make the recycling from recycled paper and how to make Eco board. Guest of our corner was also the great quilling master Carlo Pedroni, who for this occasion had exhibited several of his works made in that technique.
This technique aroused great interest among visitors and participants from all generations, and most of them tried to make the basic forms and combine them with greeting cards or messages.
You can see the atmosphere of our corner and friendship with the visitors in the photographs of the event.
See you at the second Skopje Mini Maker Faire!
